The most common breed of dog at the Pasadena Humane Society is the Chihuahua, which at times makes up as much as 40% of the dog population. To help reach our goal of zero euthanasia of adoptable animals, PHS now offers spay/neuter for Chihuahuas in our service cities at no charge. Leave a message at ext. 138 to make an appointment.
Tip of the Week The major cat allergen, Fel 1 d, is a protein found in cats saliva and dander and not their fur. Take simple precautions such as washing your hands after petting your cat. |
